Adolescent Development Services (ADS) specializes in the
development, enhancement, and continuation of successful
adolescent development programs.
In 2002, ADS conducted a survey of youth advocates and
programmers from across the west-central Florida region as well
as people from all over the US. Through our research we
discovered that lack of specific resources contributed heavily to
the slow dissolve or complete elimination of their youth program.
We maintain our commitment to increasing the quality and
quantity of youth development efforts by providing a series of
resources to assist with your programs' overall growth. Our
Principle Resources include services most critical to the successful
implementation of youth serving programs and agencies. How do
we know? We asked. The Top 5 Reasons why programs dissolve
are 1.Lack of funding 2.Ineffective implementation strategies
3.Unclear goals and objectives 4.Staffing issues 5.Lack of
organization support. Couple these issues with no networking
connections and your program is destined for failure.
In our efforts to promote additional high quality services for
youth, ADS also provides a host of development programs and
opportunities for youth advocates. These programs attempt to
address larger youth programming issues including adolescent
policy, program development and advocate support. Our services
to youth advocates involve numerous community agencies, local
and national businesses, educational institutions, and an
immensely diverse group of youth service providers
