Extensive research has validated the need for an increase, both in quality
and quantity, the level of youth development programs to serve the
ever-increasing number of adolescents. This need, assisted by the over
emphasis of sports rather than academic excellence or social
understanding helped to fuel the creation of Adolescent Development
Services (ADS) in 2002.
ADS has become an essential part of the youth programming landscape.
In just six years, ADS has been responsible for creating and developing
several youth development initiatives throughout Hillsborough County, FL.

Our mission is to provide a wide range of developmental opportunities for
youth with respect to the issues and interests of youth today while also
providing a variety of necessary resources to other youth-serving
agencies in efforts to establish, strengthen and sustain their own high
quality programs.
